Easy Chocolate Cherry Brownies

I was in the mood for chocolate, but I also had a can of cherry pie filling to use up. Hmmm…what would it taste like if I combined a brownie mix with a can of cherry pie filling? As I found out, it made for a yummy, super moist, and very easy chocolate cherry brownies recipe.

Combine. You don’t need any more moisture. I thought I would, but the mix was moist enough and of the consistency of brownies. So I put it in the oven and baked at 350 degrees until a knife inserted the center came out clean.

And oh my! I can’t get over how moist these brownies are! They taste extra good with a dollop of whipped cream on top, too.

Edited to add: I made these in a pan that’s approximately 10 inches by 10 inches. If you make it in a smaller pan – like 8 x 8 – it’ll take quite awhile to bake, so it’s best to make in a 10 x 10 or 13 x 9 inch pan.
